According to the first chairman of the SPE Trondheim section, Professor Jon Steinar Gudmundsson at NTNU's Department of Petroleum Engineering and Applied Geophysics, our website was the first of its kind within the SPE organization. The Trondheim SPE Section was founded in 1991. We have not yet determined when the first website was published, but a meeting announcement from 1995 attests that the website for sure was up and running then.
